Please read every section of the form carefully and ensure that all required sections are completed in full. Application forms submitted without all supporting documents will not be processed by NSFAS. NSFAS requires applicants to provide a valid cell phone number or email address so that communication can be maintained throughout the application process and to notify applicants of the outcome.
Applicants are encouraged to apply early to avoid delays caused by incomplete information or high volumes of applications close to the closing date. It is important to keep copies of all submitted documents and to regularly check your email or SMS notifications for updates or requests for additional information.
If your application is successful, the contact details provided will also be used to communicate information regarding allowances and funding-related updates. Students with disabilities must complete an additional disability annexure form available on the NSFAS website and submit a supporting medical certificate to ensure appropriate assistance is provided.
